Hi Richard.. I talked to you yesterday ... well corresponded. lol I know.. You would think more ppl would post on here... there is quite a few ppl from here but no one ever posts. Especially no one from the 4 corners. I was wanting to try and get a support group going. I just got approved this morning and Im waiting on my surgery date... i know it will be this month... but just dont know what day. Keep in touch!! Take Care

Richard, I feel the same way you do. I just moved here shortly after my surgery, and because the surgery was in a different state, I could really use that local support. I have emailed many people here on the NM messageboard and I think I got like 1 out of 20 replies. I feel that it is also important to be among people who understand what you are going through. I guess we are just going to have to keep trying. Have a great day. Oh by the way I am in Rio Rancho, where are you at?

I used to see alot of people use this site. Now that I am on the road to WLS myself, I never see any posts. It is kind of sad, because this is an important source of support for many of us seeking WLS... Your input and continued sucess updates are appreciated

No I'm not involved yet, I just had my surgery on Oct. 23, and had some complications that I am trying to over come. Do you go to the support group? Is this the same support group with Richard? I've talked with him in the past, but thought I would NEVER get the surgery....(You know how insurance companies can be) So I held off until now. Who did your surgery and how far out are you? I live in Rio Rancho. But I just started going to the support group that meets at Anna Kaseman hospital near San Mateo and I-25.

i have united healthcare also and iam still looking but what i heard the only one doing it aproved by them is in dallas and you look fantastic i have lost 220 but i gained 30 back iam so afraid i can eat anything iwant and that is scarey
