Check out my profile for pictures of MARINER OF THE SEAS from a cruise I did with my family in 12/04, and from just two weeks ago when I did an inspection tour for this year's CRUISE TO LOSE! Make sure you check out the pictures of the Royal Promenade, ROCK CLIMBING WALL(!!!!), 18-Hole Mini Golf Course, ICE SKATING RINK (again, !!!!!!) among other points of interest! The Royal Promenade has café’s and bistro’s, and Promenade Cabins overlooking the “main street” – these areas are actually “Inside cabins” retrofitted with a picture window overlooking the promenade! NO OTHER CRUISE LINE offers such a great, inexpensive alternative to what would otherwise be an “Inside”!! Each day there are various activities here, including parades, parties (70’s and 80’s parties, Mardi Gras, etc.), and while at sea, the shops along the mall are open for business!
Go to www.rubycruises.com to PRE-REGISTER – upper right hand corner. If you have any questions, you may PM me here, email me at [email protected], or call me TOLL FREE at 866-685-RUBY (7829).

I live in Tijeras, NM, and have been researching Lap-Band for my husband and I. We attended a seminar with a group in Arizona, but it was very expensive, and pretty far away. I noticed that you just had the surgery with Dr. Frezza in Lubbock, and having just located his office, was thinking about this route instead. I would love to hear about your experience there. How long did it take to get your first appointment. What was the process like from your first appointment to surgery. How is the doctor...his staff...the hospital? Did insurance pay? We have BCBS of NM. If you were a self-payor, what was the cost? Will you go there for fills? Would you recommend Dr. Frezza and Lap-Band to others? How are you doing physically? How has the weight loss been? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Hello Sara, I had my surgery a year ago last month. To date I have lost 160 lbs and I feel great. I had the gastric bypass surgery (RNY to be exact). The only part I am not happy with is all the loose skin. With time, I would like to get post-bariatric plastic surgery. I wish you luck in whichever decision you make. *Olga*
