Hit a brick wall

Well, found out today that the indigent care program will only cover NM, but there is no one in NM that does the surgery. I am so down now, feel like I have hit a brick wall.

Hi Rachael, I am so sorry to hear about your setback. I have to ask, though, are you on medicare or medicaid? I know medicare is paying for WLS. If you are not on medicare, you might want to look into it and see if you qualify. Don't give up. It may take awhile, but you can do it. Judy

Hello again, long time no seeee.... I am waiting for the presbyterian salud to go through. They will pay for the surgery! They send people from NM to Lubbock Tx. I am in Las Cruces, so it is a bit of a drive, but it will all be worth it. Wish me luck, looks like a light at the end of the tunnel
