My name is Sandra Rouse. My husband and I moved to Las Cruces this year. I had wls in August 2004. I weighed 245 pounds. I reached the century mark in April 2005. However, I do have a problem with weight fluctuation. I have regained as much as 6 pounds in a two month period and then lose it again. This has happened twice. My blood pressure has not stablized and I've had to try different medications which may account for this. I am having two problems. One is not being able to stay on a normal sleep pattern. Prior to wls, I had sleep apnea. Since wls, I have tested okay...no apnea. I can go to bed on Saturday night at 11:30pm, sleep and get up at 6:00am feeling really good. However, on Sunday night I can go to bed, but I can't go to sleep. So I'm up all night. If I take a nap during the day, I'll sleep a couple of hours but can't go to bed until midnight. I'll sleep fine and get up at my normal time Monday morning and the cycle starts all over again. The other problem is cold. The house can be 75 degrees and I shiver. This is a big problem for me. My husband's business requires computer equipment that puts out a lot of heat. Has anyone experienced these problems? Sandra

Sandra, I had surgery back in Aug of this year and my Dr says the cold thing will not stablize until your body decides that you are done losing weight.I don't have problem sleeping I can go to bed between 9-11 pm and i sleep about 7hours wake up feeling refreshed.I hope it helps. Connie
