Albuquerque Support Group

We welcome everyone to meet to discuss the new and changing issues we face with WLS. Meetings are held at University of New Mexico Hospital. We have been provided with a nice size meeting room just beyond the Cafeteria on the 2nd floor. Park in the parking structure across the street from hospital and walk across the cat-walk to enter the hospital. Take the main elevator to 2nd floor. From the main elevators on the 2nd floor, take a left towards the Cafeteria. Room is to the far back of the cafeteria. 1st and 3rd Wednesday @ 7:00 PM, Next time we meet will be the 19th of January. Hi, I finally got my reassignment date to move to NM...I have to be at my new desk on March 21st. So I'll be moving the 2 weeks before that. I am looking forward to moving to Albuquerque altho I havn't lived in a big city for many years so I'll have to get used to traffic. I hope to be able to make it to the 3rd Wednesday's support group meeting. That will be the nice thing...I'm not close to a support group where I live now. I look forward to meeting all of you. If anyone has any advice on moving there I'd welcome it....I'll be working in the NE part of town and hope to find a place near there. I'll also need to find a Bariatric supportive PCP when I get there. Hope to meet you in March... Roseanna 291/216
