Hey all put me in your prayers, my heart dr called me and said they are concerned about my heart and that there may be blockage but are unsure. On the 14th of Oct, they will do an Angiogram and check my arteries leading to my heart. I hope they find no blockage and they give me Cardiac Clearance, if not I may have to change my wls date from 25 October to another date. God Bless.

Richard, it is fortunate you find this out before the surgery. I was in the same condition and I had many test done. Now you know why I was high risk and went to the Mayo clinic. But the will of God and all my many friends praying got me thru. Make sure they do all the tests needed. I had the angiogram, stress test, and echocardiogram. And the Stress test they put the dye in. Don't give up, they had a cardiologist on stand by for my surgery and started and arterial line in order to do my surgery. I was suposed to be in intensive care for 4 days and iwas in only one day. But I went to the gym 5 days a weeks for 6 mnths before the surgery to prepare. I only did water areobics but it helped.

It will all work out for the best. How wonderful that your specialists are giving you such great care. Remember the risks of the surgery. You don't want to increase those risks by ignoring the others. Prayers are with you. Keep us posted.

I forgot to tell you that when the Cardiologist found my heart problems he was the one that recommended the Gastric bypass in order to help me get better this could be your co morbidity. It had never even crossed my mind to have the surgery until I got sick from my heart. I am praying for you Richard. Keep us posted.
