Appeals Proces

Appeals Process As some of you know I am at the last step of my appeals process. I sent my paperwork to the Federal Government and I show they recieved it on 14 July 2004 at 11:10 AM. Well I called yesterday and the person that answered the phone must have been an old federal employee....he would not help what so ever. I finally told him since there is no one there that can help me, who can? He gave me a name and said that she would be in tomorrow. Today I called and spoke with the person that he told me to. She, at least was much more helpful. She told me that she could not find my paperwork but would go to the mail room and find out what the hold up is. I gave her my number and she said she will call me back. This is real irritating. I told the lady that I am supposed to receive a letter from them within 5 days of them receiving my paperwork. Even though they received it on the 14th, I guess they will say they did not receive it till whenever they get to it. They need to get busy, I do not want to wait any longer than I have to, I started this in October 2003. Anyways, this is just a vent, I feel better now.

Hi Richard: Sorry to be out of touch. I have had a lot of personal things going on that has kept me out of the loop of late and have not been keeping up with you. I plan to be at next week's WLS meeting. I'm glad you do have a place to vent. I finally got my doctor to write a letter to Pres & it was a great letter. On Saturday, I got a denial from Pres for Dr. Blackstone. Again, they tell me that Dr. Frezza is the only doc they will allow me to go to. They did send me all the appeal info & I will start that.
