Recently Post-Op and Looking for NM Support

Hi, I'm Cindy. I live in Rio Rancho and had Roux-Y Bypass Surgery this past Tuesday at St. Luke's in Phoenix. My roommate in the hospital gave me this web site and suggested I look for a support group, etc. in the Albuquerque area. Anyone have information for me? Thanks! Cindy

Hi Cindy , I live in Bernalillo, and had my surgery at Mayo in Scottsdale on 04/22/04. I also had Roux-N-Y. I have lost 54 #s since surgery. I also go to the Defined fitness water areobics in Rio Rancho at 5:00pm. I started 2 weeks out from surgery.

Martina,, Were you possibly at the Star Casino one night this last week? I was in Bernallilo for a conference, and went to the casino.....I saw YOU (or your twin........) I followed this lady for awhile to catch up and visit, but she disappeared....... How are you doing? Still feeling good? I am still waiting, but I know the appeal process will go through..just have to have patience..........( I'm workin on that...) Beckey

Cindy, this is Richard from Rio Rancho, we have a support group meeting this Wednesday at 7 PM at UNMH 2nd floor at the back of the dining hall...Hope we can see you there. We also have a yahoo support group on yahoo, go to yahoo and go to groups and in the search type ABQNBB, add yourself to this group and you will be plugged into the Albuquerque group...hope to see you at the meeting Wedneday..
