Ty ty ty!

I've had my consult with Dr. Syn. Everyone at his office is so nice, and they take care of everything. On my first visit, I had an EKG, a respiratory test, and a meeting with the dietician....some other people were at that same meeting. Dr. Syn then talked with me and examined me. I have never had a doctor treat me so good, and not make negative comments about my weight. He is up front and honest, and very caring. My Insurance, BCBS, has denied the surgery, so I am appealing. Dr.Syn is NOT in the BCBS plan, but out of network pays 70%. The hospital he uses IS in the BCBS plan, so that helps too. He holds monthly support meetings, and encourages everyone to attend...he says that they will discuss the Good the Bad and the Ugly...but most people who attend the support meetings tend to do much better. Renee, when I called Presbyterian about other WLS surgeons, they told me of only one that is contracted in Lubbock TX by the name of Dr Frezza. Do you know if Dr Syn is under Presbyterian Insurance?

Well Dr. Syn's office made it apparent to me that they were contracted with Presbyterian Salud. Maybe there's a difference since mine's medicaid? I'll email them to make sure.
