Death in family

Posted June 7th 2004: Just wanted to say hello to everyone. Today I experienced the worst day in my life. My dad of 35 years died today. He was only 67 years of age. He has been overweight most of his life which very well could have been some of the reason for his death. I have a heavy heart right now. My father will miss the birth of one of his grand children in October 2004. He will miss my surgery and my journey to a healthier life. My fathers death gives me even more fighting power against my insurance. Please add my family to your prayers as we leave NM and make our way to MO. God Bless you all.

So sorry to hear about your Dad, I also lost my Father on April 23 of this year, so I know what you are going thru. My Father was 92 years old and he had a very beautiful death. My support and prayers are with you and your family Anne

Dear Richard, I am so sorry about the passing of your father. I know you will be missing him dearly when the birth of your baby comes, but remember, he will be watching with all the other angels and rejoicing. He'll be there by your side when you have your surgery, too, seeing you go on to a healthier life. I have 2 granddaughters, one will be 8 in November and the other will be 4 in October. They, and my daughter (their mother) and my husband are my main reasons that I have even been researching and reading this site because, I too, want to be healthy again and be able to do things again that I can't do now.
