Yeah hoooray, my computer is back up and I am able to post. It decided to take a vacation without my permission. I am doing fine I lost 16 pounds the first week. I am eating blended and soft foods and am feeling great. I cannot believe my blood pressure is already down and my PCP has started weaning me off the medication since my BP is low now. My blood sugar has been 92 -103 and I am amazed. Well I will post more later.

Hi, Martina! Boy, you're doing great! I can't wait to get the process started! Bypass surgery may just put me out of business as a Diabetes Educator!!!! Not likely - there're so-o-o-o many diabetics in NM, that I'm sure my job is secure! Glad to hear you're doing so well! Jean
