Hi, everyone, I am home. I slept in my own bed and I feel wonderful. Hardly any pain and am I am walking like crazy. I cannot believe how well I feel. It is truly amazing how this all went. My Doctor told me that it was because of the exercise I did before and I lost a total of 23 # since December. He was amazed too. He had told me before that I would be in Extensive care for a few days and I was there only 1 1/2 days then 1 day in another room then out of the hospital by noon on Saturday. My surgery was on Thursday. I have been able to eat fine with no problems and the doctors release to do whatever I feel up to. No lifting over 20 pounds but I can star****er aerobics on Monday. All the horror stories and warnings did not happen to me. The Mayo clinic was wonderful and I cannot say enough good things about my Doctors and the treatment I received went in as a high-risk patient and they were very well prepared for me.
