Support Group

I hope to see all the Albuquerque group at the meeting tonight. UNM . this will be my last meeting before my surgery. I leave to Scottsdale on 04/19/04. I am really excited and kinda scared but I have to keep my spirits up and know that I am in good hands. I got a call yesterday from my pulmonologist and he told me I do have sleep apnea. They want to put me on a C-pap machine. I am not sure if I want to go this route since from I hear from all the posts that this will go away after the surgery. They told me it takes two weeks to order the unit and by then I will be having my surgery. I had the test on 01/11/04 and they barely got back with me now.

Thank you, It was good to see everyone at the support group. When I first started going there was 4 people that night now look how many, just like this board. Now Arizona has slowed down posting and NM is full force. Yeah Hurray!!!!!!!

Martina, Just to wish you good luck on your upcoming surgery and hope things go smoothly. Did the pulmonologist explain why it took them so long to get back to you? That's quite a while. I hope that won't delay things for you. I will keep you in my prayers for a safe journey. Best of luck Donna
