I have a question, if my insurance is saying they have In network Dr's in Lubbock, are they also saying they are going to pick up the tab for hotel and travel and meal expenses if I go with an in network Dr?
I may be stupid... but I never asked. I just paid for it all myself! I paid total out of pocket for my hotel (mom went with me) like $480 for 8 days. Then total I had to pay the hospital with co-pays $325. Not bad for a surgery that showed up as costing $84,000.
