Surgery at UNMH on 2/16/04

I had open RNY by Dr. Fry on Monday 2/16/04. I have been home just a few days due to a fever later in the week. I would love to talk to anyone *****cently had surgery at UNMH. Also is anyone else getting tired of eating foods from a spoon only? I know its too soon, I am not even hungary and just eat popsicles for the most part. Going to get my staples out today, not looking forward to that procedure. Anxious to see what the scale will say at the Dr's office. Managed to walk around Wal-Mart for 2 hours yeaterday with my Mom. It has been wonderful having family support-but she is flying back home to Tampa on Friday. My girls and husband have been great. Is there a support group meeting this week at UNM?

No meeting tomorrow but there is one next Wednesday at 7PM. We now are doing the meetings first and third Wednesday of the month, also, incase you don't have it, there is a yahoo support group if you send this message too you will problably get some replies at. Congrats on being on the other side. I had surgery on 2/10 but not locally! Getting the staples out was not as bad as I anticipated it to be... but still not fun. LOL Here is to a speedy recovery ::clink::
