Good day to you, My appt is for 01/27/04. After trying for 3 mnths to get an appt with a Dr. here in NM I gave up and sought out Arizona. I knew there were people out there in NM , thank you so much for answering, as I get used to this I have many ??????

Have you had any luck in Arizona? Are there lots of Dr out there? How many of you are military out there? Active or family member? I am a family memeber, my hubby is in the Army. I was wondering if the base hospital out there does it? I know that when I was there last, the hospital that the base used was UNMH, is that still ture? I would think that since it is a learning hospital, it would be doing this surgery, lord knows there are enough people would could use it It is shocking to hear statistics about obesity... Anyhow... Hi Richard, nice to put a face to a name! I will be back in town on Jan 10th...knock on wood...one Jeep, one van loaded down with "stuff" , 3 kids and a buttload of Christmas presents that I am sure they just won't be able to live without for the 3 weeks that the movers have our stuff! I, of course, have to have my computer, so there is that as well! We are going to Ga first to see a girlfriend of ours and then we are on our way to NM...I cant wait to be back! OH, by the way...no one in my family knows that I had this done, so on the odd chance that you know someone that knows someone, blah blah blah, please dont mention me and this surgery... I havent told them, because I know that my hubbys grandma would worry about me to much... I think that she saw a bad view of the gastric bypass on TV or something Thanks
