I don't want to burst your bubble , but Dr. Fry has a 1 and 1/2 year waiting period. I hope your PCP can get you in sooner. I can't even get on his waiting list.

If he is your surgeon of choice, than go for it! I am not very hopeful about having the surgery in New Mexico. There are only a handful of surgeons and most are not taking any new cases. FYI there is a Dr. Applebaum down your way in El Paso I think and a couple of surgeons in Lubbock TX. Good Luck.

Hi there! May I suggest my Dr. Maria Terry she is in the same office with Dr. Fry. Most do not know of her, but she is great, she looks at you as a whole person and is very meticulous. I just had my surgery Nov 19th. My first appointment was hoped to be with Dr. Fry, but I was very disappointed about the wait and asked of any other surgeons in his office. I got an appointment with Dr. Terry immediately. She is straight forward and very caring of you a person. I stress this because of what I have heard of Dr. Fry, you come off as a number. I have also heard really good things about Dr. Castro and Dr. Applebaum in El Paso. Good luck to you, I would be glad to share any experiences I have had. Also, do you know there is a support group in Las Cruces? You can find them in the Yahoo groups LCWLS. Tiffany
