Hi, I'm new to NM

I just thought I would see if there are any support groups in Albuquerque or Santa Fe. I'm 9 weeks post op lap rny. I hope to hear from you! Ciao Sarinda

You can check with Dr. Fry's office at UNM Hopital and talk with his Nurse "Neets" and she can give you the list of support groups that meet in Abq each month. I just don't have the info right on hand if you want I can email the names later. The number for Dr. Fry's office is 505-272-2336. I am sure they would mail the list to you or could even go to their office and pick it up. Good luck! Nina

HI, This is Misty, I got a respond to a post from you and I can't find the one that I posted that you responded to to write back to you! Does that make any sense? Well, I hope it's not to confusing! I am not in NM yet, I will be there in less than a month and I can't wait to get back there, I am from there, but my hubby's job ( The Army ) makes us move alot. He is going to Korea for a year and I am staying in NM near family, and such. I had heard that only 3 surgeons in NM do the surgery and two are not taking patients? I don't know how true that is but dang if it is! Makes me glad to be post-op! Anyhow, I hope to hear from you again, if you want to go to my profile and email me from there we can chat off of here as well, but I don't think that I am supposed to put my email address on here, so I won't, don't wanna get in trouble, I am not a trouble maker, ok so sometimes I can be...Hope to hear from you!
