....internet problems!  I have been in "internet hell" for the last week plus and I'm ready to pull my hair out!

How is everyone doing and have any of you fellow New Mexican's made it out to the Balloon Fiesta yet?  Hopefully the weather will hold throughout the week and they won't have to cancel any more of the activities.

Well, here's a question for everyone....   ....What are you doing to change up your normal exercise routine?  As for me, I have taken to walking at a strip mall area.  It's all level (concrete walkway), there is security patrolling the area and I get to get my fix of "people watching" while I'm doing my rounds.

Hope everyone is doing great and enjoying the beautiful fall weather!

Katherine

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Failure is only a fact when you give up. Everyone gets knocked down, the question is: Will you get back up?

Hey Katherine, I am sooo enjoying this weather. I usually work out in my house on my treadmill. I walk around stores on Wednesday (today) just to change the view! But, it's getting expensive to walk around in the stores last Wednesday I spent $60.00 at Target and today I spent $70.00 at Wal-mart. You know if I can't eat....looks like I can shop!! It's not as bad as it sounds, I actually bought my grand-daughters birthday gifts and my mom's birthday gift and a little Christmas shopping is done...well let's just say my husband doesn't  have to buy me boots for Christmas...wink, wink! He said he really doesn't mind me walking around the stores but he is scared to think I might start walking in the malls..........anyway, have a good day and keep up the good work!!

Went to the Balloon  Fiesta Sunday evening and it was wonderful- what a beautiful site.

I have been taking a break at work and walk for 25 minutes and in that time I can do two miles..  I also am training two horses and I really enjoy that... Tuesday evenings I am glued to the t.v. watching biggest looser and that really motivates me to exercise cause I will exercise the entire two hours that it is on........   love that show makes me realize what I need to do to keep it off.
I love dancing so this weekend I'm going to a wedding and I'm also going to take my cd that has cottoneyed joe, waltz's, polka's, and schottish on it.......   I am 70 lbs lighter and boy can I move around the floor.... (hope my husband can keep up with me) haha....   I don't seem to get short winded anymore but he does....
Hey, has any of your husbands (or others) lost weight too?  mine has, 25 lbs.....  yeah, I'm proud of him...
