Albuquerque support groups?!
Hola, NM losers!
I am set for RNY with Dr. Acosta in El Paso on Oct. 22nd, and am just wondering if there are any support groups that I should/could be attending prior to that date.
Also, has anyone tried the "Bariceuticals" line of supplemental products?
Will probably be posting more questions in the next few days, as I have many!

Yes there is a support group. Here is the information from the website. It is a yahoo group.

Our goal is to bring people together for the purpose of discussing / sharing information, experiences and concerns about weightloss surgery of all types.
We have a large group of diverse folks in this grass roots setting, we encourage any and all questions about the types of surgeries that are available, the surgeons that we have experience with, nutrition pre/post surgery, emotional issues or whatever is on your heart that you need support with. We're here for YOU.
Come join us locally too, we meet at the Northside Prebysterian Medical Center on Harper, just off I-25N, the first and third Wed of each month. Meetings start at 6:30pm. See you there!
