Hi, I'm in the process of educating myself on Lap-Band surgery. I'm curious as to what others experienced when it comes to extra skin? More specifically, anybody w/ c-sections? I've had 2 and just wonder if that makes things a little different? What about skin saggin in general? I've noticed some have lost quite a lot of weight in even just a years time. Are you working out a lot to keep up with it? Thanks for your insight & I apologize for the silly questions. :)

Hi. I havent had my RNY surgery yet. I was just approved 2 weeks ago and im waiting to schedule my date with Del Sol.  I have 1 son who is now 16 months old. I had an emergency c-section with him because of preeclampsia. A few weeks ago I was telling my husband and my mom that if I had. had this surgery 3 years ago, before my c-section that my skin would probably be SO much better after the RNY. After my pregnancy my stomach skin got really lose. I guess there really isnt any way of knowing until you have the surgery and you start losing the weight. Also why dont you check out the Post-Op pregnancy forum and ask them. There are so many women in there and im sure they will have an answer for you! goodluck!  http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/postop_pregnancy/

I had a c-section  and the doc went from my belly button down.  I hate it, it has always reminded me of having a butt in the front and of course the one in the back.  Now that I am almost at goal weight I haven't lost a lot of my weight from my stomach but more from every where else.  My stomach is ugly saggy skin and it is gross......  but I don't think I could tolerate the pain of having a tummy tuck.. This is only what I am going through, you might have it a lot better...  good luck..
