Lori at Del Sol

Hi Everyone!! I just wanted to let everyone know that I found out today that Lori is no longer with Del Sol!  I had been trying to get a response from her about my consult appointment in June but she just wouldn't response.  Fortunately, Amber, one our WLS friends gave me Becky's e-mail and that's who I ultimately got the information from.  I'm not sure who all is running the show but Becky was awesome at getting back to me quickly....I was beginning to panic! You're all awesome! Michelle

Im glad you got a hold of Becky finally. Im curious why Lori isnt with them anymore. So did you find out anything?

  Hi!    I'm glad I FINALLY got hold of someone at Del Sol.  I've heard a lot of good things about them and didn't want to give up!  I'm not sure why Lori is gone but I didn't really ask.  Maybe i'll find out something when I go down there June 13th.    How is everything on your end?  How is your mom doing?  She had her surgery, right?   Talk to you soon, Michelle

I am terribly unhappy about this news too. I sent Blanka an email asing about Lori and no answer. Have you heard anything else? thanks for ltting us know. Kelly

Hi Kelly! Sorry it's taken so long to respond!!  I haven't heard anything further as to why Lori left but it seems like it was pretty abrubt.  One minute I was exchanging regular e-mails and the next I heard nothing and then I hear she left.   They may be feeling the crunch too.  I was supposed to have my consult with Dr. Lara this Friday but Lupe (?) called and told me that Dr. Lara would be unavailable and now I have to wait until July 11th.  Please do let me know if you find out anything and I'll do the same. Ah, that is why her email bounced back to me.   I have an appointment the end of June maybe someone will know by then.  I really liked Lori very much!!!!

Hi, I live in Elephant Butte NM and have asked for an appointment with DR Applebaum.  I am waiting for my first appointment.  Since I'm 68 yrs old I am concerned about being accepted.  I think I would want the RNY (?)  Would appreciate any thing you could ell me about the process.  Thanks pat

I do not know if they would allow you to have the RNY at your age because it hard on your body, but I know some there are some ladies on the lapband board who are in there 50's and 60, try posting this over there.

Heard that Lori was asked to leave.........  that is so sad, really liked and trusted her..... can't imagine why she had to leave........   something stinks about that....   If you are out there Lori, thanks and best wishes to you..
