I'm a newby

Hi all!  I'm a newby here and so glad I found this sight!  I live in Albuquerque but travel throughout the southwest a great deal.  I consulted several doctors concerning my weight loss journey and have selected a wonderful doctor.  Because of past health issues I am going with the gastric sleeve.  I start my first set of test this Tuesday....  sleep apnea and  then the psychological.  I'm hoping there are others out there who have the gastric sleeve and share a little insight with me.  Kat

Good luck on your Gastric Sleeve.  I had the by pass in Nov 07, in El Paso and have done ok... slow weight loss but didn't have that much to loose but it is still slow and frustrating. God Bless on your surgery.

I am here in ABQ and had my gasrtiric sleeve in PV Mexico on June 30th. I am home as of Wednesday and very pleased so far. You may want to go to the gastric sleeve board. Lots of good people who were very helpful as I made my selection. I paid out of pocket as my insurance would not cover the sleeve.
