Need help finding a surgeon in New Mexico

Hi, I'm hek in Rio Rancho and have decided this is the way to go, but am having a heck of a time finding a surgeon.  How did you all find yours?  Any recommendations?

What surgeons are used for Lap-band?  I have Lovelace and was told it is covered but need authorization letter from my doctor, just moved here so I have to find one that is in favor of weight loss surgery, any suggestions?  I need a good PCP & Lap-band surgeon...taking suggestions?
