Just begining with seminar at Del Sol
i had my appointment with dr. acosta at del sol on the 19 of july. and he said everything was great, i don't have to see a nutritionist or anything. my medicaid approves after first submission. so all i have to do is the psyc (sp?) evaluation and all the pre op stuff EKG and whatnot. so as soon as i get that stuff done. he will schedule my appointment!! im pretty excited. so i'll let ya know when i get a surgery date!

Well any way my insurrance approved me. I had my appt with nutrionist and psy yesterday afternoon. Also had a H pylori test done. All i have to wait for is to see Dr Applebaum and they will schedule a date for surgery. The nurse said they are shooting for mid August. I see that everything is going good for you that is great. It is so exciting. I cannot believe how fast this is going. I am getting ready to go on another trip this time to Reno nevada. Work is taking me and husband there. Hello Cindy , Think I may have responed to your question about time frame but anyway I went to seminar in October and had my surgery in dec. over my Christmas break.i have BC/Bs and they are good and very fast Good Luck with it I am still trying to get together a group for Las Cruces that can meet and just talk about issues or achievements and to support each other.. Not sure if we will have guest speakers but we can look into it once we get something in place. I know it is taking a while but I was gone this summer. Anyway I am thinking scheduling a meeting once a month like in the middle of the month so not to over ride what Del Sol in doing because i will attend those meetings as well.. I need to know from anyone who might be interested or if you know of people that might be interested , I am looking for anyone, people who have had surgery, are awaiting a surgery date and people thinking about it.( Gracie can you contact Cyndie) please send me your name and email and phone number if you want. I also need to find a time that works for everyone so if you will please email me with a time that will work for you. I was thinking like a weekday ( evening) say 6-8pm or a Sat. Morning for two hours like 9-11 AM.
