I HAVE BEEN APPROVED!!!

I was called today and told my insurance has approved me. I should have a date soon... WOW... Just like that and it is real!!! hoorah!!!!!

My pre-op is 4-11-07 and surgery is 5-3-07. What a wait huh??? oh well I guess the good sometimes comes with bad... Keep those prayers comming and swing those chickens... I need all the help I can get...

Thank you, it has been a long wait, and it is not over yet, but atleast now I can see the finishline... it is possible to win... Surgery is set for 5-3-07 4.5 months... Oh Boy... the wait continues...

hi richard, i have'nt been on this board in a while but glad to be here. congrats on your upcoming surgery. just work on staying positive. i fought for 5 yrs. and just had surgerydec 14. Dr.Syn was a God send for me. I am feel in so much better already. life is already gtin easier. the weight is melting off.I am sure you lose alot at first also. guys usually do. I will keep you inmy prayers. just do whatever the dr. tells you and dont stray from it. thats when ppl gt in trouble.a support group and your family will make in a difference in your recovery. I know many people who have gone with Dr. Syn. Does he do the proceedure Laproscopically? I was told he only does open surgery. Anyway, everyone seems to really like Dr. Syn. Sounds like your in good hands. My family is fantastic, and has been very supportive. I admit some of them do not agree with my choices, but they still support my decicsion. I just wish I didn't have to wait so long... I'm told Dr. Blackstone is worth the wait, so I will wait. I am sure I will not be disappointed. Richard I
