Hey Guys as many of you know, I was one of those people thar just don't make cut cutoff for surgery right now with Dr. Pace. I need to lose 80 pound first in order to qualify for surgery at this time. In any case, like a lot of you out there I have tried almost every diet in the book and nothing seems to last. I figured I would share with you my latest find which I love so much. I started the 90 day challenge by Body By Vi one week ago today. It is absolutely awesome. Both myself and my husband are doing it. So far I am down 8.6 lbs and my husband is down 9lbs. What it is, is a high protein shake for two of you meals per day and a well balanced meal for the other meal. The shakes are way better for you then the slim fast, etc. You really do get a full meal in a shake. I have included a link if you would like to take a look. There is a video there that will give all the information you need. Also if you have any questions I will do my best to answer them.

Topic: Update!
I had my check up yesterday, everything was good and actually at normal values, I am actually relitively healthy right now and still no insulin, I feel great, its not easy believe me but nothing good comes at a cheap price!! I have the smallest measurements so far to date according to the nurse Ralene!!My BMI was origanally 44 now down to 38.8! I have lost almost 60 pounds, 40+ since the surgery....which means I have already lost 60% of my excess weight! Yeah Me :)

For those of u who are upset that there are a few people getting surgeries before u guys, dont fret, there is a method to Dr Pace's madness.  He has to show the government that this is marvelous and has literally no complications...So this will be approved for everyone in the future, as long as they can get the operation safetly, sooo any one who maybe a little heavier then the others, or are a little less healthier then others its ok!  So that its possible for everyone to be done in the near future...Dont worry Sweetpeas, it will come in time, I was waiting for 10 years, and its well worth the wait :) Good Luck to EVERYONE....It will be ur turn to join the losers bench soon enough!!!

Hi Terry,

That does help...it helps a great deal. Thanks so much for taking the time to reply.

I hope you are able to go soon. For me, the waiting is worst than actually making the decision to have the surgery. I have a higher BMI as well. I am anticipaing that my surgery date will be in November this year. It has taken me about a year as well.

I wish you the best of luck on this journey. I have afriend who had the surgery almost three years ago and she has lost 150 lbs (half her body weight) and kept it off. Her life is completely changed.

Thanks again,

Roxanne
