hi everyone,
this forum has been very helpful to me. I was just wondering if someone could help me out... my dr. has referred me to dr. pace and i was just wondering if anyone could shed any light on the process from here on in. Does it take long after the first referral before you hear back from their office... do they call and get info or anything, or do they get it all from your family doctor. Im not sure who to ask all these questions to because my doctor didnt have many answers to give me either. thank you in advance for your help...

 I didn't get a letter.

 I am so excited this evening.   I found a pair of size 24 jeans - that I had the last time I lost weight.  On September 24 I was wearing I size 28 - tonight the 24's are loose!  Not to big but loose!   I am very happy and I needed a boost after a bad food weekend!  

With the grace of God, I will have this surgery and never see that weight come back again.

I really wish I could be there.  These should be held on Fridays so at least those out-of-towners who are in for an appointment would get a chance to attend.  I'm in there on Nov 25 and again on Dec 13 so I really can't justify going in this week as well.  I hope everyone has a very informative evening and can someone please fill the rest of us in when you get a chance.
