Topic: just wondering
so i was wondering... after the first referral letter is sent by your family doctor, does it normally take a while before someone from the office gets back to you... like, do they let you know that they have the referral or anything. Im just wondering because my doctor said it was sent but all kinds of things go running through my mind like, did it get there, or some other thing... its been over a month since the referral was sent (and that may not be long at all but because im not sure about anything...) just wondering... if any one has any insights id love to hear it :)

Valerie I am so sorry to hear about your friend. She went through hell a year ago
with her husband and now this... That's terrible. She will need your support. Just

That is so sad
all you can do is stay positive and hope for the best!! I lost me dad a few years ago to cancer and its a feeling i remember oh to well....right now you need to be strong for her cause that will be the best help to her right now is a strong shoulder to lean on. so sorry

Ok so its not related but in one way it is...Took my friend to see her doctor today and its looking like she has a rare form of breast cancer(Inflammatory breast cancer) it started out as looking as a sun burn not even a month ago and it has now spread to the other one also...this type of cancer is usually spread to other organs at the time of diagnosis...Her husband died of cancer a little over a year ago.
All i want to do is sit and cry for her...I usually don't let things get to me but I just keepasking why her hasn't she being thru enough .

Dec. 16th. and I see Reyleen & Rhoda on Jan. 13th. at 1pm.

Let that excitment motivate you Terrie. Every pound you lose before surgery lowers the risk for you and its a pound you won't need to lose after surgery.
