Mcp will cover skin removal from belly button down. If you want to have a fully tummy tuck then that will cost around 5000.00. They also have a criteria that you have to be one year out form WLS at your goal and then you have to maintain the goal weight for 2 years and then they will consider you for the skin removal.

I am apart ot the Facebook group it is a private group and you do need to be invited to the group. If you would like me to invite then just Add me to your FB and email me and remind me that I am doing it for you. I am listed on FB as Denise Tucker Bradley.
The group has pre and post people. I have found them to be great support and a wealth of information.

Sorry to chime in, an online support group on facebook - for people wanting bariatric surgery as far as I know - Dr. David Pace - does bariatric surgery at the HSC in St. John's, NL. I de-activated myself as a member a while back. Differing opinons and all that. Try gettng your family doc to writing a consult for

I am new to the site and looking to talk with someone about losing weight thru surgery. I have not done alot of reserach and would love to talk with someone who has some knowledge about the various procedures.
I am married and operating a small business as a busy photography living in CBS with two small children. My weight is out of control and I am very depressed. I need to take action but do not know where to start. Do you have any advise for me and would you be interested in getting together for a chat. I would also be interested in starting a support group for those interested.

A BMI of 35-40 will also be considered if you have co-morbidies - like high blood pressure, diabetes and so on.

i havent attended any of the support meetings because my referral only went in in december of this year... but im not sure when they are meeting now... if you join face book i will invite you to the barriatric group!! just go to www.facebook.com and fill out the info on the front page and after add me as a friend my online name is amanda skinner squires.

I was part of the original support group in St. Johns before our nurse went on Mat Leave - I have no idea if the groups are still meeting? When is the next meeting?
Also - as I'm not a Facebook Member - perhaps you can friend me in? I will figure out about signing up - I only want this for the on-line support

I'm a 16 year Canadian Forces member who has chosen to go ahead with WLS, after multipible deployments in Afghan, Dubai UAE and Haiti I'm finally in a static posting and am ready to make this change in my life. I'm wondering if any pre or post op Mil mbrs can share there experence and there timeframe.
I'm seriously considering self pay.
Any help would be great
