I had my check up yesterday, everything was good and actually at normal values, I am actually relitively healthy right now and still no insulin, I feel great, its not easy believe me but nothing good comes at a cheap price!! I have the smallest measurements so far to date according to the nurse Ralene!!My BMI was origanally 44 now down to 38.8! I have lost almost 60 pounds, 40+ since the surgery....which means I have already lost 60% of my excess weight! Yeah Me :)

For those of u who are upset that there are a few people getting surgeries before u guys, dont fret, there is a method to Dr Pace's madness.  He has to show the government that this is marvelous and has literally no complications...So this will be approved for everyone in the future, as long as they can get the operation safetly, sooo any one who maybe a little heavier then the others, or are a little less healthier then others its ok!  So that its possible for everyone to be done in the near future...Dont worry Sweetpeas, it will come in time, I was waiting for 10 years, and its well worth the wait :) Good Luck to EVERYONE....It will be ur turn to join the losers bench soon enough!!!

I realized that Dr. Pace was picking to do surgeries that way when I found out mine would be sooner than later.
Other than the weight, I am very healthy. No high blood pressure, no diabetes, nothing to hold me back, and I think the biggest thing that helped my cause for getting surgery is that I am fairly young (I'm 26).
Dr. Pace knew that I would heal fast and that it was very unlikely for me to have any complications. I was told during my hospital stay that everyone was amazed how well I was doing. (Day of surgery I was up walking around the halls around supper time, I needed to move to get the has pains away).

To everyone still waiting, keep your eyes on the prize. Its not easy for any of us at any stage of this process. But we're all here to help and support each other. :)
