I finally had an appointment with my family doctor and she was all for me to proceed with WLS. My referral is being sent today. I guess the waiting game begins.

YAY for you Mellybean!!!  Make sure you call in a couple of days and confirm that your referral was received.

The referrals are still being faxed to Dr. Pace's office but the Nurse Practitioner Raleen Murphy is taking care of the wait list.  I'm not sure of her phone number but her email is [email protected]

Cool...You never know...and who knows maybe we will eventually be surgery buddies.
