sleep apnea
Thats great just think it will be one step closer to surgery...do you have to spend the night at the hospital for the test...i don't know how they are done so just courious just wondering what to expect for when it happens...How have you been doing since your appointment...I have an appointment to get shots in my knees with Dr.Martin in october, hopefully I have no big problems with them this summer, its not easy to chase a 2 year old...
Hi Newfie88: You start the shakes 3 weeks before surgery. I assume his sec. will advise
you on that when she calls with your surgery date. When I had my sleep test, I stayed in
St. Clairs all night , I think it was because I was from out of town. Instead of them hooking
me up and going home and then have to come back the next morning with the equipment.
They just kept me there. Jenn said that she was just hooked up with the equipment and
she went home and went back the next day. So, I guess it will depend on where you live
maybe. I was hooked up to about 20 different wires. they stick them to your head , face,
behind your ears, stomach, arms & legs. Be prepared to wear whatever you go in all night.
There is no getting your clothes off after.

Not doing so well on the diet. I was doing really good in the beginning until my son came home from the sitters with some cupcakes he had made himself. He really wanted me to have one so I ended up having three. Since then I haven't been able to get my head into it. I started again yesterday and promised myself I would tough it out for one week. I will deal with next week when next week comes. The two things that are getting me are chocolate and chocolate/vanilla twist soft serve ice cream on a waffle cone. I am an admitted chocoholic and once I eat it a couple of days in a row then I crave it every day. I have to force myself not to touch it for a couple of days and then I'm OK for a few months. Normally I'm not an ice cream person but its actually the waffle cone thats really good. Everyone in my family loves them and the kids ask for them every day. Yesterday I managed to say no to both the chocolate and the ice cream so if I can stay away for another day or two I should be OK.
