How to build muscle from sitting position.
Here is a link to a little video I found. The guy in the video is sitting on one of those excercise balls while do his but I use a foot stool from one of those glider rockers it works just as good. It glides back and forth. Plus, he is doing everything 50 times. I am starting with only 10 of each. It helps when you are not an active person or can't get out and walk. It will help you build up some muscle tissue. Then , eventually we might to that stage when we can get out and do some walking... hope it helps. |

Ohh Tina, I am also getting one of those excercise bands you were
telling me about. My sister-in-law is bringing me out one from town
when she comes this weekend. So, I will have the weights and the
band to to work with.
Trust me Terri, I'm no doll in my swim suit...lol....rolls everywhere, eeks...but the way I look at it is I need to get my body moving and the water feels so good....after I'm in the pool for like 15 Min's I feel the retaining fluids I'm holding start to feel relieved...of course I'm bursting for a pee by the time I get out but Its a wonder drug for me....the pool I go to has a walk in ramp so I'm not trying to haul all 275 lbs of myself out and I also have inherited my mothers huge rump so I'm sure that's a sight...lol....Everyone in the pool when i go is there for the same reason...to stay active and healthy....If at anytime you want to give it a try if your in town ...MSG me the day before and I'd love to go with you.....oh ya plus the pool I go to has private showers and changing rooms...bonus :)
