Will as you all know missed my call on Friday.Called in today and Janice said my appointment was tomorrow at 3:15.I said WOW that was quick,Janice said written on my chart was to be seen within 3 months.So they must have some kind of system set up there.


Was wondering if accepted do I start dieting right away?And for how long?

Excited,scared and everything else you can think of.Emotions all over the place.Thanks to this board I have someone to share this with,

Let us know what happens Newfie88... do you have any health reasons that they would
send you in so fast? We have 10 more days to wait...what surgery are you having done?

Good for you - glad you got your appt and didn't miss it. Good luck - and as for dieting - my surgeon was Dr. Beausoleil in New Brunswick - and my surgery was 3 yrs ago - the general rule was no weight gain after initial consult - and they definitely looked for weight loss in the two weeks previous to surgery. But back then - the optifast/meditrim protein shakes were not the norm. Ask the questions you have tomorrow - write them down - I always did. Take care!

Terri I'm not sure why I'm ahead ,I have high blood pressure,My knees and ankles are full of arthritis and recently had a sister who died of heart failure at 48 yrs.I am choosing the Lap Band Terri.I'll let you know what I find out sometime the week,
.It won't be long for you either now,Hang in there.     

OMG  I am so happy for you!! and we have a choice in surgeries????  Major happiness, i hope I qualify for surgery.  Ok !!  My cell ohone will not leave my side. 

Keep us updated, I know what you mean for the emotions, i am crying tear of happiness for you  and I do not even know you yet.

still anxiously waiting for your update!!!  

The secretary said there was two clinics today and on the 16th and would not or could not tell me if there would be more this summer.

Any info you can share of your experience so I can live vicariously through you and others till it is my turn will be appreciated, lol.

My work/meeting in st. john's  got cancelled this week, i even got as far a glovertown yesterday  and had to turn the ole truck around. If i did not  stop to see what Pennigntons had on special i would have been in much to far to turn around and would have been able to meet you guys somewhere too.
