What was old is now New Again!!!
Hi Everyone, Just had to pass on a good feeling story to all. It was rather cold in Piscataway over the weekend, so on Saturday I decided to where jeans and a long sleeved top. Well, from the fiasco of going to the ER during the week and then feeling horrible the next day after, plus taking care of my 2 girls, I hadn't done any laundy. So I decided to see if anything in the closet that I hadn't opened in 2 years fit. Guess What - black jeans and a lightweight, long-sleeved sweater finally fit!!!!!!!! Didn't even have to lay on the bed to get the jeans zippered!!!!! Down from a size 24 to an 18 in 2 1/2 months, guess that's pretty good?!?! Just thought I'd share my little success with all of you. I hope to see lots of you at the Toms River support meeting this Friday at 7pm. Just remember, if I can drive all the way from Piscataway for this meeting, so can you!!! It's well worth it, believe me!!!!
All my best and hugs, The Jenster (Jen Davis)
Awesome Jen -- one thing I did a bit too late was organize my once too small clothes into size order so I could take advantage of them as I passed them by..... By the time I got around to doing this, I only got perhaps one or two wears out of them. At this point, everything in my closet is new except for one size 30/32 pants and a 4x top just to remind me where I came from.
The new 8s and 10s are much more fun to wear!
See you Friday.
Hugs,
Nannette
