need help badly...ssi medicaid?

hello all. i have been a viewer of this site for sometime but have never posted until now. i hope you guys can help as best you can so here goes simply put i am at a staggering 435lbs...i am 25...i recently was approved for ssi ..so thereas i also am goin to receive ssi medicaid...i am trying to find out if this type of medicaid covers wls....i am in paterson Nj...if anybody can help or offer some advice...id greatly appreciate it.. thank you kindly and god bless

I have my surgery on September 13th and I was covered fully with SSI Medicaid. I went to Univeristy Hospital in Newark, my surgen was Dr. Asha Bale ... she is wonderful. I was 280lbs. when I had the surgery, now I am 188lbs. Good Luck.

Dr Elliot Goodman takes medicaid, he operates in NY where he is Chief of Bariactric Surgery at Beth Isreal in NYC but he also operates in Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck. He has hours on Tuesdays in the evening across from the Hospital. I got some of my clearances from the other Drs that I was going to for years, I had my 1st apt on March 1st then operated on April 21st . The week B 4 surgery I had a Vena Cava Filter put in I had to stay for 2 days due to the fact I am allergic to Iodine & needed to be given steroids. I got Heparin shots after surgery but then they were stopped, no need for the Coumadin with this one . He takes Medicaid and he is a terrific surgeon, I am out now for 3 months today. while he was in there he found some other stuff (hernia ) that he repaired while in there, so happy he the did the open. I was a diabetic taking 2 kinds of pills cut out 4 pills thanks for the surgery and no longer taking Blood Pressure Medicine .
