SOUTH JERSEY: SUPPORT GROUPS

I was wondering if anyone new of any support groups in the southern area of New jersey I live in Sicklerville, so i was hoping to find one within my limits. I dont want to travel so far for a 1hr support group meeting. The only one that i truly know about is the one associated with my Dr. and he is all the way out in bridgeton and the support group is in vineland. I just cant travel that far when a meeting is only an hour. SO IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A SUPPORT GROUP IN SOUTH JERSEY THAT YOU MAY THINK I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Spoke with my daughter, the group meets the 1st Mon of the month at 6pm to 8pm at Atlantic City Hospital. If that is near you just give them a call, to make sure. Blessings Fran

Hi, there is a support group the first Monday of each month at Atlantic City Hospital..mainland division in Pomona, NJ. I am not sure if that is in addition to the on in AC of not... Marz

Tyshea, Hi there!! I go to a wonderful group right in Pitman/ Glassboro area over by you!! They meet at the First Nazarene Church on the corner of Evergreen and Main. It is run by the South Jersey Bariatric Support Services and is a combo of people from all different Dr.s in the area. We meet every other Friday night at 7pm. For you it would be like a 20 minute or less ride. You can email me off list for Directions and further info Hugs Diane

There is also a informal mostly RNY support group on the first Tuesday of the month at the Somers Point library For bandsters there is a last friday of the month at Dr Patels! Feel free to email me..Ima bandster! RB
