Psych eval

Many surgeons and insurance companies require a psychiatric assesment or evaluation prior to bariatric surgery. I am a therapist in Woodbridge, NJ who has lost over 80 lbs. since my RNY on 1/3/03. I have been there, and I can help. I have done several of these evals in my private practice, and they have been accepted by both surgeons and insurance companies. Most surgeons require that you use thier psychiatrists. I do agree thought that since you went through it you'd be better suited to judge.
