No I'm not having problems with the band at all. But there are days when my old habits want to come out and so I'm struggling with the head hunger and the desire to eat for emotional reasons instead of physical reasons. All part of the journey!!

Yep - that is the hardest part!  It gets better, hang in there!

I'm Rachelle.  I live in Little Falls right near Willowbrook Mall in Wayne.  I had RNY on August 6. 2007 and have lost 100% of my excess weight and am maintaining with lots and lots of exercise.

Hi,  I'm Mary from Bergen County, I had surgery in 2 parts, so I'm 2 1/2 or 1 1/2 years out, depending... LOL....  I've lost 260 pounds so far....  with a bit more to go....   and I like meeting other WLS people....  There's not a support group locally I can get to because of times, so it's been really helpful to me , esp when I was new, to go to get togethers...  and see that WLS people were alive and well a few years out, and still had hair, and teeth and all the other horror stories people tell you about when you're pre-op!   Mary C

I have met quite a few people from OH (mostly from R&R) IRL and I have made some good friends!

We are having a get together in June out here in Morris County (not too far if you are close to Rt. 287) ....there is a separate thread about it here.
