Anyone else have surgery at the University of Penn?

I am 3 weeks post op today.  I had my surgery at the University of Penn and Dr Dumon performed it.  Just wondering if anyone went to the support group meetings there?

I did not....however, welcome to the boards!  Hope you are doing well - this is certainly quite a rollercoaster ride.  I had surgery in October (age at that time was 26 as well) turned 27 in December.  I also had surgery in Pa - only it was at the barix clinics.  I'm very active on the pa board as well as being active on the jersey board.  I don't know if anyone on the pa board has had it done at U Pen, but you could come on over and ask.  Enjoy your ride!!!  Pam

I had my surgery at Pennsylvania Hospital. Attended a couple of support group meetings there and they were good. I think anyone can attend, I believe they have them once a month. I live too far from there and attend metings where I live.

my husband and i also used Penn Hosp -- he has a friend who is going thru U of Penn now for surgery -- he was just approved  good luck on your journey roberta
