DR David Greenbaum?

Walter - I noted this a couple of years ago (Memorial Page) when I started coming to OH.  I'm glad you pointed this out, I'm not sure I would of had the balls to do so. Where is Dr. Gagner located?  Currently, I'm leaning towards Nussbaum, and am waiting for his info seminar next moth.  I checked out a practice in Bergen County and was turned off by the receptionist checking out each person's insurance card and telling them/announcing to the room what they would have to pay for their surgery (before the seminar started), and then scared the crap out of me with all the detailed info on the surgery.

Can you please direct me to that fourm I can't find it. Is this a sick joke? Leslie

Hi I had surgery with Dr.Greenbaum Back  onJan.15th of this year.I used him because alot of people I know have had surgery with him and I watch them for about 3 years and decided to go for it.I was scared of the hospital because I had never been there but it was a really nice place and now it has a special floor for weight loss surgery.It was no  different then any other hospital that i have been in.He is a very good doctor and like others say he is very to the point but he knows hes job.I am very happy that i had this surgery.I am now thinking about having plastics done with dr. tummy tuck.I started out 279 lbs and at 9 months i have lost 131 lbs down to 148 now and a size 6.I feel great no more pain in my back or legs and high blood pressure is gone.His office is always so great and will help you with any questions you might have.my best friend had her surgery with him 3 months ago and is doing great also.You have to chose the doctor that is right for you and makes you comfortable.Good luck to you.

Stacey, Thanks, I have been doing alot of reading and researching about the doctors and procedure.. I am scared ut have set a goal in mind.. hope all goes well for me..  

I live in Woodbury area also (West Deptford) and I had Lapband surgery with Dr. Wasser, who is part of the bariatric group with Dr. Greenbaum and Dr. Ing.  All I can tell you is that all of his patients who attend the monthly support group meetings have nothing but great things to say about him.  They love him!  He, along with the two other surgeons, are at every support group meeting.  They use Lourdes Burlington Co. hospital, which is right across the street from their office.  Lourdes has its own bariatric center and the care was exceptional.   Good Luck with your consult today and maybe I'll see you at a meeting!
