HI!  VIC,      YES,  THEY DENY TO SAVE MONEY.  THE LONGER THEY HOLD ONTO THEIR MONEY THEY MAKE INTEREST.   HOWEVER,  THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO SUFFER MORE HEALTH PROBLEMS WITHOUT THE CPAP.   SO AS SOON AS YOUR PAPERWORK IS TURNED IN, I'M SURE YOU WILL GET THE MACHINE.   THY TO HANG IN THERE.    I'VE BEEN THINKING OF YOU. TAKE CARE BRIDGET  K.

HI!  VIC     NO,  IT IS NOT RIGHT.   BUT JUST FOLLOW WHAT YOU NEED TO DO,  AND YOU WILL GET IT.   WHAT KIND OF INS IS THIS?  ALSO,   DID YOU GO TO A PULMOMERY DOCTOR BEFORE GOING FOR YOUR SLEEP STUDY.?   WELL,  IF YOU INS DENIES THE MACHINE, THE DOC'S OFFICE IS SUPPOSED TO DEAL WITH A COMPANY THAT THEY WILL APPROVE. SOMETIMES INS CO.   ONLY WANT TO DEAL WITH DIFFERENT MAKERS.   SO I WOULD CALL THE DOC'S OFFICE THAT SENT YOU FOR THE SLEEP STUDY,  AND ASK IF THEY ARE GOING TO TRY AND GET IT FROM ANOTHER CO.  I WOULD ALSO DO THE PAPERWORK TO FIGHT THE "DENY".  VIC,  I DID PUT SOME PICTURES OF MY FAMILY ON MY PROFILE.  I THOUGHT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM.   LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. THANKS,   AND KEEP FIGHTING.  IT WILL BE WORTH IT. BRIDGET  K.

note to those that need them, cipap machines are often rentals, the insurance companies rent them for you the first 3 months to make sure you are going to use them because so many people refuse to after they try them, sleep apnea is so serious , it causes obesity, not obesity causing apnea, it can causse A fibulation, hypertention, and can come from gerd, that is where mine came from long before I was overwieght. for those of you who have been on cipap for more than 5 years , ask for a new machine, and donate the old one to your sleep center for someone with out insurance, I gave two away this year that way. and the new machines are so much better anyway. the standard of care is new face mask and hose supplies every 6months, and new mach evry 6 years.
