Love My Surgeon!

I don't know if there is a seperate place to post this but I figure I'll start here. I am post op August 9, 2006. Any one who is looking for the best most qualified and compassionate surgeon for wls in NJ, please know that I have to say I found him. Dr. Michael Bilof in West Orange NJ is a prince. His staff are angels and his associates are truly all wonderful. I couldn't believe I was lucky enough to find a surgeon who was still able to relate to patients as though they were real living people not just meat to chop. If you are looking for a doctor who still has the elements of human compassion in NJ, I have to recommend Dr. Bilof. I visited 3 different surgeons before I decided with Michael Bilof. It was the smartest thing I ever did. I had scar tissue and other issues that might have prevented me from getting this procedure and I can't believe how well I feel now and the level of after surgery care I received. So far I have lost 45 pounds. I've had one fill and probably will get another next month. I feel great and have lost at least one co-morbidity so far. I know shopping a doctor can be scarey and confusing so that is why I chose to share my experience for anyone thinking about this procedure in my area and visiting this forum. I had Dr. Nusbaum, with Dr. Bilof doing follow up at the hospital. Both are awesome doctors and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Hello Milia, Well, I couldn't have said it better myself, as Dr. Bilof is also my surgeon and I am very pleased with the results. He is indeed a good as well as a compassionate doctor. Carla
