LEGAL HELP FOR 2ND APPEAL

i HAVE NOW BEEN TURNED DOWN BY MY INSURANCE COMPANY TWICE, INCLUDING MY 1ST APPEAL. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS?? PLEASE THIS IS LIKE FIGHTING AN UPHILL BATTLE. DEE

hi dee im really sorry to hear of all the trouble you are having. i dont know who your insurer is, but the key to getting an approval is often finding out why they are denying you. Is it some piece of information they want, is it something your doctor hasnt provided?? try and get as much information from them as you can, and after that my only thought is to try once more. good luck, jacki

Why don't you go and see Dr. Jean-Baptiste. He really goes the distance to get all his patients approved. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY"RE DOING! i guarantee you'll get approved going through his office. THe key is to have eople willing to go at bat for you. HOPE that helps.

I agree with Renee. Dr. Jean-Baptiste did all my paperwork. He even call to ask me if I could get my PCP to fax him my progress notes because the insurance company was question my BMI and to show all effort made for weightloss as it relates tomy diabetes and arthritis. I had them faxed on Friday, 8/25 and I receive a call from Dr. J-B office on 8/28 saying I was approved. My surgery is scheduled for 9/7. everything went quickly. I have NJPLUS (Horizon-BC/BS) What insurance do you have?
