I have started the process with DHMC Concord, but they do the surgery and everything else at CMC. I have only heard good things about the program. I have had a couple of appts so far and have about 7 appts in the next few weeks. They are a center of excellence so they have to have fairly high standards to reach that designation. Driving 45 minutes for all these appts, however, is already getting old!
I appreciate the help - looking forward to 'meeting' new people here! Thank you.
I am always looking for someone to buddy up with - I lose my motivation without one - my last 3 months of not going to the gym is a perfect example - if you still haven't found anyone let me know - I work in Concord and live in Deerfield -

When I did the Pros and Cons, there was only one "Con" and that was the fear of failing which certainly wasn't enough to keep me away. I'm failing now!
Thanks again and I'm feeling positive about much WW success.
Hi Brianna,
There is an excellent program called Jazzercise that holds classes in both Concord and Manchester. One of the instructors (Lisa) is a weight loss surgery success story! She is fabulous. Just google NH Jazzercise. I miss going when I stopped working in Concord. It is a lot of fun, you meet great people, and it is a workout and then some! You can also go as many times a week that you want. I think there is another instructor who also had surgery named Cathy. She may do more classes in Concord.
I am 4 years out, and have really struggled the last year. I have been thinking of going back too, just to get tools to get back on track. I see you live in Portsmouth (?) I work in Portsmouth. Maybe we could start and go together and help each other.

Bobbi, I am not a bander I had the RNY over 2 years ago. I can say one thing, if it works for you then go for it. If you want to get back to basics then do what you need to do. If you know that you are not exercising enough track that or start with tracking what you eat. How much protein are you getting? Are you drinking enough water?
I wish I could help you more but know that all it is a tool and if you work it it does work.
Good luck and nice to meet you.
Part of me says I've failed , but the other part says "The only failure is not to try."
During these five years, I've slowly decreased exercise and let more sugar creep back into my diet.
I said to myself that I would never been one of those lap banders that started to gain it back, but I have.
So I ask folks opinions of going to Weigh****chers after Lap Band Surgery. I know others have done this.
Thoughts?
