Topic: March Exercise Challenge Week 2
Hi all,
Well I did not make it to the gym 6 days, but I did make it 3, plus tubing for an hour on Sunday until my leg gave out again. So I had a total of 465 minutes which is pretty good for me!
How about everyone else?

Topic: Wednesday's Plan
OK well yesterday's plan went OK for lunch but dinner turned out to be a mix up, hubby wanted a new fish dish and I just couldn't choke it down. The rest of the family loved it so I will post the easy recipe later, but I ended up eating cheese stick and sliced turkey lol.
OK today
Breakfast - egg, cheese 1/2 breakfast round
snack - Greek yogurt w/ splenda & fresh strawberries
lunch - left over chili
dinner - baked pork chop w/ steamed green beans ( I promised Justin green beans)
snack if needed pop corn ( I have the small bags)
Hope you have a great day and everyone makes it through the spring snow stay safe!!!

Topic: RE: Looking for a walking buddy i live in Rochester NH
Dee,
sorry it has taken me so long to reply, life as you know can get in the way. so if you are interested I go through Rochester for 3:00 pm and the commons is an easy walk to start, or even the HS track I think is clear although after last nights snow I am not sure. Let me know PM me a phone number and maybe we can catch up. I am also about ready to join PF in Rochester so the whole family can have a membership. Hope to see you soon.

Topic: RE: May need a new PCP
I wish I could help with the PCP near Manchester, but you said you work 1 hour away? Which direction is work? I suggest looking through your insurance co website so you can see who is available. Then go from there. It is a starting point and never easy to make a move.
Good luck

Topic: RE: Looking for a walking buddy i live in Rochester NH
Dee,
I live in Farmington and work in Milton & Rochester. I go to the PF in Rochester as well. I like walking/hiking around the isinglass trails as well as out at the northwood meadows. What type of walking are you looking for. Like around the commons or hiking or such. With the nicer weather coming I do more hiking - not treacherous trails but something enjoyable and that my 4yr old grandson can handle....
Let me know if you are interested in getting together and walking.... The commons is nice.... I'm normally free by 4:30 (depends on the night and if I have my second job or not.). Also if you are interested in going to PF we can meet there as well.

Topic: RE: happy monday to all ... my plan
Dave, your mornings to the gym are quite impressive!! Even if I didn't have kid duty in the AM I don't know if I could pull that off!!
For the last week I have been really tracking EVERYTHING I eat, getting in my liquids (which I was REALLY lacking) and walking more thanks to the nice weather. It seems to be working. Jumped on the scale this AM and was down 3lbs for the week :)
So... for today here is the plan:
Breakfast: Low fat cottage cheese with 100 cal pack almonds
Lunch: Home made Chili with low fat cheese
Snack (if needed): rice cake with peanut butter
Dinner: Meatless chicken pattie with something crunchy TBD
I hope to walk today but sounds like snow is coming so might try to hit the gym at lunch if thats the case (weather shouldnt be too bad to prevent me from getting there). Once our house guest leaves Im going to try to make the gym after work again!

good morning everyone!
so i have put on a few lbs(some would say this is good) and i have not been feeling as good as i think i should and i have been letting a few bad habits creep back into my life and i don't like it!!!
well today i have decided that it is time to get back on track and start feeling better physically and mentally!
so i started the morning at the gym with Big red for 30min of cardio and 15min if strength training..
and here is my plan
breakfast - 2 egg whites on a sandwich round
snack- 1 1/2 hard boiled eggs ( throw away one yoke)
lunch- left over American chop suey ( made with ground chicken)
snack 2( if needed) - Greek yogurt
dinner- not quite sure what the wife has planned... but if it is not something " good" i will go with an egg sandwich..
i plan on trying to hit the gym tonight with the family but not sure ( just found out the boy is not feeling well) so who knows but i know i CANNOT just sit in front of the TV it leads to " operator error"
hope every one has a great day!

Topic: May need a new PCP
I am considering finding a new PCP, I love my current Doctor but she is an hour drive away and then I work another hour in the opposite direction so the drive is getting old. Right now I am just thinking about it but I wanted to know if anyone here has a good PCP in the Manchester area. I would really prefer someone who has some knowledge of weight loss surgery. I have had this Dr. pretty much since I was in high school so I've never had to choose a Dr. on my own and now it seems more important than ever to find a good one. Any suggestions for area Doctors?
