Glad to be able to help. It is not an easy journey but it is so worth it. I am glad that you are able to get to the gym. Smile the countdown is on!

Thanks - I actually feel a little better today...I managed (forced myself) to get to the gym last night (thank you 24/7 hours!) and I started chuckling at how ridiculous I must have looked crying while eating a sandwich... I am sure it was not a pretty moment..but you are right I am human and onward and upward! (or in the case of the WLS downward!) :-) Thanks for the encouragement and pep talk!

OK, so you had a weak moment you are human . Now you move forward today. Keep your chin up you will get to your surgery date when you are supposed to get there. It is never easy and the waiting can drive you nuts. It will happen, you will do great and be so happy when you are there. It is better to get that sandwich out of your system before your surgery, Now today you can make better choices. You are HUMAN, we get emotional, we get upset, and we need to learn how to deal with our emotions with out falling back to food for comfort. Know we are here, you can vent all you want. Anyone who says they have never done something like this is lying. Chin up, smile and greet the day.

I am so bummed out today...got a call from my surgeon's office - because the assisting surgeon couldn't be there so they moved my date from 5/10 to 5/17 (just like that)....I had already lined stuff up, got myself mentally ready for the date and worked so hard to get to goal weight for pre-surgery.....so we rescheduled - and I know I should be happy that my insurance approved it and I have bin moving forward because I know so many folks have had worse set-backs... but I couldn't help it, I was so very frustrated, and I think with the stressful few months, with my mom passing, and my being sick for weeks etc. etc....I started to cry.... then I had a BIG tuna, cheese and bacon sandwich on rye with regular chips, pickle and soda (I had not had a sandwich like that in months)....so a real weak moment and I feel bad for doing it and after my eyes cleared and i wiped the snot and sandwich crumbs off my face I did not feel any better... :-( I know one week should not be a big deal but for some reason it just bugged me! Anyhow - thanks for letting me vent! I have to remember one day at a time!

Sorry things have been so hard for you, but I am glad you are sticking with your plan. Hope things continue to go your way. Shout out if you need to vent or just want to shout about being happy.
Topic: I'm BACK...
Well the poo hit the fan in February, I lost my job, which in turn caused things at home to take a bad turn.
We ended up having to move, I am now officially stay at home mom looking for others children to care for during the day to help supplement the household income. Took an evening job waiting tables... and with all the stress I dropped 23lbs!! Yup went UNDER my goal which in turn put me at a BMI of 38.
So I delayed my appointment with Dr. Snow until May so I can have some time to put SOME weight back on, focus again on me, and dealing with all the crappola that happened all at once.
If all goes well I will do my next support group in May, my last exercise appt on the 20th of April, and then my appt with Dr. Snow on the 24th of May which then sets me up to meet the surgeon in June and surgery in July (later than I had hoped but at least I am still on track).
Hope everyone is well!!
