Hi Dee,
not sure what you are eating so it is hard to give you ideas.  But here are some that I fall back to when I am not sure what to eat.

1. Greek yogurt, plain with splenda (you can add frozen berries when you are cleared for them)
2. Cheese sticks
3.  scrambled hamburg - 93% lean w/ fat free gravy
4.  Scrambled egg w/ ham & cheese
5. CHILI - my go to meal
Hope this helps.  Let me know what you like and I might be able to help out more
TTFN & Good Luck
Laurie

This saying was a big help for me to get through the 3 weeks after surgery .

I am so glad things are working out for you Debbie,  it is so much easier with less to worry about.  That being said here are my recommendations for tomorrow.

1. Relax it will be over before you know it
2. IF you can get the Rikki treatment do it.  Even after the surgery it is wonderful
3. Bring a pillow for the ride home.  It will help with the bumps in our wonderful roads.
4.  Call if you need anything I am in Portsmouth everyday and can stop over if you need it.
5.  SMILE your journey is just beginning.

I met with Dr. Snow on March 15th and my appointment with Dr. Campbell was on April 11th.  Unfortunately, on the way to the appt. I got a call saying she was still in surgery and had to reschedule.  They managed to fit me in two days later on April 13th, so it took almost a month.  From there it was nearly 3 weeks to the surgery date.  Hopefully she doesn't cancel this one!  I think I'm the first that morning at 7:30 am.

See you soon at Post-Op Support Group!

Congrats on surgery date... been dying to hear how you were!! I meet with Dr. Snow on May 24th, my next support group is next week or the week after I should say and then I am officially done with all the requirements.

How long did it take for you to see Dr. Campbell after your meeting with Dr. Snow in March?

I am sooo excited and nervous and anxious and READY!!

Make sure you post after pics... cannot wait to see how amazing you look!

Topic: Surgery in 4 days!
I can't believe it's finally here!  After all of the hoops I had to jump through, I am having surgery on Tuesday, May 3rd.  I'm so excited and ready!

I was very concerned about how people would react, so basically only my husband even knew I was going through the process.  But I had to tell my mother because I needed help with watching my daughter next week and then I just started telling the rest of my family.  I have five siblings and I was shocked at the support and encouragement they gave me.  I was worried about the stigma and their comments, but they were really great.

Now I feel I can go into the surgery with a clean conscience and a happy heart.

Thanks for letting me share!  Have a great day!

Welcome Back!  I was wondering how you were doing.  Thanks for posting.

Good luck gaining the weight, isn't it ironic, really?

I've gone through the process and am having surgery this Tuesday, May 3rd.  I'm so excited!

Glad you're doing okay, considering everything.  Good luck!

OK  so I hope everyone had a great weekend and you stayed away from the candy ( I had 1 sf peanut butter cup).  I am needing help in the mornings  DH was up and was great and made me breakfast, but disrupted my routine enough that  I walked out with out my lunch and snacks, that being said I will have to make due with what is here.

Breakfast - 1 egg w/ ham & cheese - Made with love by DH
Lunch - Chili (I am sure they have some today)
Dinner - Chicken on the grill - w/ grilled veggies and potato's (not sure how sweet potato's will work on the grill but we will find out)
Snack all I have here today is popcorn - so that will be it  if I need it.

Hope you have a wonderful Monday all
