Topic: Hiking
So a bunch of us are planning on getting together to hike Mt. Major in Alton.  We would love to have others join us.  We do not have a firm date as of yet, but we are going to try and go in June.  If anyone is interested, please post dates that are good for you.  We will then try and coordinate a date that is good for everyone!  If this works out, we also want to try and hike once a month.  I want to do Dianna's Baths, and there are other hikes that are not difficult.

So let me know!!! Time to get out and enjoy the warm (yes it will get warm - hopefully!) weather and sunshine!!

You can also take dulcolax which is a stool softener.  Drinking lots of water helps, and exercise.  Don't forget, you are taking in much less food, and burning most of it, so you three days is not unusual.  Actually, it is more the norm!

Topic: RE: Surgery today !!
surgery went very well. surgeon said I was a star patient.  Came home yesterday afternoon, felt great to take a shower.. Slept great in my own bed without noise last night. Haven't take any pain meds in a couple days, really just feel sore./stiff.  Happy to be home and starting full liquids today for the next two weeks. Came home yesterday and had a new laptop on my side of the bed !  Yipee !  I am the only one in the house without my own laptop. have wanted one for a long time. Hubby said good time to get it because I will be home for two weeks so I can put it to good use.  So far so good .... looking forward to being past the healing process and being as physical as I want. In the mean time, will follow doctor's orders to the detail, don't want to cause any complications by not following exactly what I am supposed to do.

Thanks everyone!  I'm not allowed to have applesauce yet, but I'll keep that on the radar.  I'm feeling good otherwise.  I'm just very tuned in to what everything tastes like.  They say taste buds change and I'm starting to believe it.  Have a great day, if not, MAKE it one!

I opened up the capsules and put it in sugar free applesauce.  It worked pretty well for me.

Miralx, you can get it over the counter and dissolves into any drink.  It is unflavored and I don't even know it is in there.  Hope this helps.

Topic: Bowel Movements
I'm a year and 3 months out and my movements are not regular. I probably go every three days or so and when I go its uncomfortable and "really firm". Any suggestions on how to make it more regular and easier to move.

Thanks!

I am so glad things are going well for you!   You deserve to be happy.
I have been trying to keep on track and plan, lol but then again maybe I need to step it up.  No worries about not being on the computer, just knowing things are going well is good.
